DO YOU KNOW A HEART HERO?
Heart Restart Corporation invites the community to nominate an extraordinary individual for the Heart Hero Award presented at the Heart Heroes Awards & Dinner for a Cause.
A Heart Hero is someone who stepped forward when another person's life was at risk—or someone whose dedication to lifesaving education, emergency preparedness, healthcare, caregiving, or community service has helped make others safer.
You don't need a medical degree, a uniform, or a professional title to be a Heart Hero.
A Heart Hero could be a nurse who performed CPR outside the hospital.
A caregiver who recognized an emergency and acted quickly.
A nanny who saved a child in their care.
A teacher or coach who responded when a student collapsed.
A coworker who used an AED.
A bystander who saw someone in trouble and chose to help.
A family member who performed CPR on a loved one.
A CPR instructor who has dedicated years to preparing others to save lives.
Sometimes, a Heart Hero is simply the person who was there—and chose to act.
WHAT MAKES SOMEONE A HEART HERO?
A nominee should demonstrate at least one of the following:
❤️ Lifesaving Action
Performed CPR, used an AED, provided lifesaving first aid, called for emergency assistance, or took decisive action during a cardiac or medical emergency.
❤️ Courage to Respond
Stepped forward during an emergency when others may have been afraid or uncertain about what to do.
❤️ Extraordinary Care
A healthcare worker, caregiver, nanny, teacher, family member, or other individual who went above and beyond to protect or help someone in their care.
❤️ Lifesaving Education
An instructor, educator, healthcare professional, or advocate who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to teaching others CPR, AED use, First Aid, or emergency preparedness.
❤️ Community Impact
Someone who has helped improve CPR awareness, AED accessibility, emergency preparedness, or Heart Safe initiatives within a school, workplace, organization, or community.
❤️ Inspiring Others
Someone whose actions or personal story has inspired others to learn CPR, become prepared, or have the courage to respond.
WHO CAN BE NOMINATED?
Anyone can be a Heart Hero. Nominees may include:

Heart Heroes are ordinary people who do extraordinary things when someone needs them most.
